Definitions:
Carnauba Wax:
A hard shell wax designed for deep gloss shine with extended protection.
Made from Brazilian tree leaves. Best applies in the shade or on
a cool surface. "Carnauba a proven name".
Express
Waxes: A liquid Formula that wipes on easily and dries
quickly with high gloss shine, but moderate protection. For great
maintenance apply wax every 30 to 45 days to keep your paint looking
new.
Paint
Sealant/Teflon: A high Quality sealant fortified with
Dupont Teflon and amino functional polymers. UV resistant protects
against acid rain, water spots, bird droppings, and tree sap. Its
simply the longest lasting paint protection available.
Polishes:
Polishes are designed to remove fine scratches and bring out the
color on your vehicle. Polishes are best used with a high speed
polisher or orbital. But you can still achieve good results if applied
by hands. Its recommended after polishing that you apply wax for
protection, also you can still get good results with a cleaner/wax
as a one step to save time.
Compounds:
Compounds are designed for the removal of heavy scratches and oxidation;
in today's industry we have compounds that work off synthetic micro
abrasives that are still safe for clear coat. Traditional compounds
with a gritty type feeling are designed for basecoat finishes.
Glazes:
glazes are the combination of mild cleaners but good protections
designed as fillers to lotion the paint and hide scratches, swirl
marks and other paint imperfections. Extra oils leave a wet look
shine designed for those darker colors. Recommended to apply a layer
of wax over the glaze.
